State Cups

Each year two State Cups are held.  Early in the year a Long Course State cup is held and later – after the Interclub Series – a Short Course State Cup.

Long Distance Meet

A seperate event is held each year for long distance swimming – 400, 800 and 1500 metre events.  The Long Distance meet is rotated each year between Long and Short Course.

Interclub Series 2020

Four Interclub Meets are held over the winter months each year in which swimmers representing their clubs compete for individual and club points. In 2020 there will be a mix of Short and Long Course through the Series.

Trophies are presented to the winning club and the runner-up whilst Individual Medals are awarded to swimmers in each age group (5 year span) for points accumulated over the series.

Trophies and medals are presented at the Annual Presentation Night which is held in November each year.

Guest Swimmers Welcomed

Guest swimmers are welcomed at only Summer Pool Series events.  The Guest Swimmer concept is to allow new swimmers to the organisation a chance to compete a couple of times to see what Masters Competition is about encouraging them to become registered members of a Masters Club.  It is not for past members to be able to enter events because they have not reregistered for the year.

Guests may only swim twice during the series before becoming a club member.

Guest swimmers enter events on the same conditions as members:

·    Entries must be submitted to the Branch Recorder – Leanne Beames – by the due date.

·    Entries may be emailed to beames@internode.on.net. or posted to address below.

·    Entry fees are the same as registered swimmers plus an extra $5 for Insurance Coverage and may be paid at the pool or or ask Leanne Beames for direct transfer details.

·    Guest swimmers are not allocated points or are elligible for any records
